Fill the pool as soon as practical after installation and don't leave the lights exposed to direct sun for long before fill. INDI-Glo lights are water-cooled — never energize one out of the water, as that can shorten its service life or damage internal components.
Your Element Glo aggregates and mosaics charge from daylight and from white pool LEDs during the day. After dusk, the INDI-Glo 365 nm UV light recharges that stored glow on demand — the pool surface itself becomes the light source for a star-filled nighttime finish.
Run INDI-Glo for 10–15 minutes after dusk to bring the finish to full brightness, then again any time during the evening. Putting the system on a timer or automation relay makes it set-and-forget. For parties, cycle it 10 minutes every 2 hours to hold peak brightness all night.
Extend the UV run time, and confirm the water is clear and balanced — clear water transmits UV best. Areas that sit in shade during the day charge less, so supplement those with added UV time. Also verify every light on the circuit is operating and that the transformer voltage holds under load.
Up to 350 sq ft uses 4 lights; 350–800 sq ft uses 6; over 800 sq ft uses 6 or more. Add coverage for raised spas, tanning ledges, Baja shelves and water features — each charges best with a dedicated light.
Year 1 is a full replacement warranty on any INDI-Glo UV Nicheless Light that fails in normal service. Year 2 offers replacement lights at 25% off current retail. Not covered: improper installation, electrical surges, unauthorized modifications, physical damage, or chemical abuse. Register within 30 days to activate coverage.
